2008 Retrospective
Crono Racks Up The Victories

2008 has been particularly productive for pro triathletes riding Guru's flagship tri bike, Crono. After Desirée Ficker's victorious kickoff to the '08 season in South Africa, the hits just kept on coming:

  • Joanna Zeiger posted the best bike split on her way to victory at the Eagleman Ironman 70.3. She was followed in second place by her Guru roster teammate, Dede Griesbauer.
  • Joanna continued her winning ways at Vineman 70.3 and capped it off with another victory at the 5430 Long Course triathlon.
  • Wolfgang Guembel put together a personal best time to win the Muskoka Chase in Canada.
  • Gina Kehr put up a personal best bike split (by two minutes) and won the UVAS SOUTH BAY Triathlon in California in her first race on the Crono following the birth of her daughter Gabriella.
  • Viktor Zyemstev raced a Crono for the very first time and finished second at Ironman Coeur d'Alene. We are thrilled to add Viktor to our team of riders.
  • Another Canadian up-and-comer, Scott Curry, posted the fastest bike split on his home turf at IM Canada.

With more and more elite athletes choosing a custom GURU, we look forward to sharing other success stories with you.
