Just thought I’d drop ya a line and let you know that my GENEO is one unbelievable piece of carbon wonder!! Like every other Lance wanna be I was looking at a Trek and considering a Specialized. I had a friend hook me up with your dealer here in Boise (Kurt Holt) and he took the time to give me the history of your company and the benefits of your manufacturing techniques. I was blown away. Then he takes the time to measure, calculate and then do it again all the while asking questions about how I ride, what I want the bike to do and then he says "lets go for a ride so I have a clear idea of exactly how you ride” i.e. hills, climbs, sprints. I mean who the hell does that? I’ll tell you –NOBODY –not in this town. The first time I raced it was in LOTAJA the longest USCF sanctioned race here in the U.S. 206 miles, 16,000 ft. of climbing. I podium in the 35-45 age group—20 years under my age group. This year it took me to 1st place in the same race, I decided to race in my age category 55+. Did it in a couple minutes over 10 hours. I give a ton of credit to the bike. It climbs like a rocket and downhill at speeds close to 60 mph it never flinched, not even in the corners, it just wanted to go faster. Now the PHOTON—well I guess that’s why you get two kidneys, sell one, get another bike, thanks a lot. You guys rock, isn’t carbon fiber the best and you bring out its ultimate potential. Thanks again—I love MY bike! Regards and good riding, Don D. Williams |
